AVIATION OPERATIONAL CHANGE MANAGEMENT

COURSE INTRODUCTION

Global aviation is changing and growing at a rapid rate. As a result, many organizations are not prepared for the changes or shifts that may occur. Change can range from opening a new station, introducing a new aircraft type, adding a new schedule, or change of management structure and/or reporting relationships. The benefits of preparing for operational change are the efficiencies and savings of time, money, and resources that occur while also achieving the overall satisfaction that the organization has been able to capture most effectively these valuable resources.

Operational Change Management helps participants prepare for change and plan for where the Aviation organization is, where they want to go, and how they are going to get there. As such, an airline must adapt to shifts or they may DIE! Participants will be able to return to their organization and work as Champions of change and develop and execute successful Operational Change Management.

Operational Change Management is based on “real-world” scenarios and customized for the unique aspects of the aviation industry. Participants will learn the theory of change management and will also work on exercises and group work during the course that will give them experience to leave the course and immediately use what they learned in their organization.
