HUMAN FACTORS IN AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE
COURSE INTRODUCTION
Participants will examine the major causative agent in aviation related accidents: The Human Being. Emphasis is placed on the psychological and physiological factors that impact decision making, critical thinking, and task performance. Aviation industry maintenance personnel will develop an understanding of how safety management systems are designed to prevent accidents by accounting for human factors in aviation.
