GROUND PERSONNEL SECURITY AWARENESS
COURSE INTRODUCTION
Aviation security is at the forefront of the aviation industry and increased vigilance by all employees is vital to reduce the risk of a security threat.
On the ground, it is the responsibility of the customer service agents (CSA), ramp service agents (RSA) and cargo handling/acceptance agents to provide for the safety of customers, baggage, and cargo. Further, it is their shared responsibility to also guard against acts of unlawful interference and prevent the introduction of explosives or weapons onboard the aircraft.
The Ground Personnel Security training course is designed to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of their respective roles and responsibilities within an air carrier security program as well as the ability to apply this knowledge on the front-line during normal and elevated security threat level situations.
