EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLANNING FOR ALASKAN OPERATORS

COURSE INTRODUCTION

While many of the elements of traditional aviation emergency response planning are equally applicable to operators around the world, effective response to incidents and accidents in Alaska require additional planning and preparations. Addresses discussion topics from NTSB September 2019 Roundtable & NTSB Most Wanted List.

Regardless of the location, size, or complexity of your organization, centralized management of an effectively integrated emergency response plan has proven to be an essential element in maintaining business continuity and preserving brand value during times of uncertainty and stress.

While primarily focused on responding to aircraft incidents or accidents, emergency response planning fundamentals are equally applicable to other types organizational disruptions in Alaska such as cyber-attacks, pandemics, adverse weather, natural disasters, and other significant business interruptions.
