CRM FOR CABIN CREW MEMBERS

COURSE INTRODUCTION

Today’s widebody aircraft have the capacity to accommodate over 500 passengers for flights of over 15 hours duration. The safety of these passengers during these long and sometimes arduous flights rest solely upon the shoulders of up to 15 specially trained and State certificated team of cabin crewmembers.

As with any high-performance team, cabin crewmembers must be able to effectively work together to ensure the safety of their passengers during normal, abnormal, and emergency situations. Whether confronting a potentially disruptive passenger, ensuring that cabin safety procedures are being followed, or coordinating with flight deck crew, maintenance, or ground handling/station personnel, it is imperative that cabin crewmembers have been properly trained to interact with others in a positive and effective manner.

This training course is specially designed to meet the unique needs of cabin crewmembers and provides attendees with the theoretical and operational skills necessary to fully understand the intricacies of human performance as they relate to the conduct of their cabin safety duties.
