AVIATION ACCIDENT / INCIDENT INVESTIGATOR - BASIC

COURSE INTRODUCTION

Equally applicable to either a catastrophic hull loss or operational incident on the ramp or hangar floor, the Basic Incident / Accident Investigator Training Course is designed to familiarize air operator management and staff personnel with the fundamentals of conducting and/or participating in an incident or accident investigation. Instruction begins with an emphasis on preparation and training and then takes attendees through the various phases of the investigative process. This process includes mobilization of The GO TEAM members to the accident site, investigation protocols and requirements under NTSB Part 830 and/or ICAO Annex 13 as applicable, fact finding, personnel interviews, evidence gathering, analysis, determination of probable/proximate cause(s), and issuance of resultant safety recommendations.

COURSE CERTIFICATE
