BARS PREPARATION SERVICES

INTRODUCTION

The Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS) Program was developed by the Flight Safety Foundation (FSF) to address a need for a standard safety assessment and associated audit procedures for the benefit of aviation organizations operating in challenging and remote environments.

The two (2) dimensional Design Effectiveness and Validation of Operating Effectiveness approach of this Program greatly assists air operators to effectively manage overall risk from aviation threats encountered in these difficult environments. A proactive approach to BARS Audit Preparation is essential for achieving a successful audit outcome, minimizing findings, and avoiding a lengthy corrective action process.
