GHS was very excited to be part of the 2019 IEP Conference in Orlando sponsored by the great safety and quality folks from jetBlue!
Outstanding presentations were provided by globally recognized aviation safety and quality experts each of whom brought a unique, inspiring, but closely harmonized perspective to the Conference.
Demonstrating “top down” commitment to safety and quality, jetBlue’s own Senior Vice President Safety, Security, and Fleet Operations, Warren Christie, delivered an inspiring Opening Address that set a positive tone of commitment and support for the presentations to follow. Fabian Drago from jetBlue shared his “Gate C8 Moment” when the critical importance of safety in the workplace “hit home”.
Input from jetBlue’s Randall Ali, Clayton D’Souza, Anthony Cimino, and Brett Swerdlow aided in the valuable insights jetBlue provided to conference attendees.
Fabian was followed by Matt Berry from the DoD, Chris Popp from MINT Software Systems, D. Smith from the US DOT TSI, myself from GHS Aviation Group, James Wyrick from the FAA, and Denny Ofstedahl from Endeavor Air all of whom kept the audience energized and intellectually engaged.
Aviation industry safety and quality icon, Hector Hidalgo from Avianca, shared his perspective on the effective integration of an effective compliance monitoring system within an existing SMS framework.
GHS was very pleased to host a very well attended Reception at the end of Day 1 of the 2019 IEP Conference which provided an opportunity for speakers and attendees alike to take the day’s discussion topics to another level. Our special thanks to Danielle, Samiya, Karla, “Chef Josh”, and our own Judy Nicholls for making the Reception such a resounding success!!
