COURSE INTRODUCTION

This course equips Airline Maintenance Managers with the knowledge necessary to plan, develop, train, implement, and evaluate Safety Management Systems (SMS) within the technical operations discipline. Participants will also be exposed to the roles that the regulator as well as organizational and human factors play when incorporating a Safety Management System.

An Introduction to Basis of Implementing a Safety Management System in an Aircraft Maintenance Environment and the Requirements of Auditing and Maintaining the Effectiveness of SMS
Conduct a Hazard Analysis, Set Planning Priorities, and Produce an Emergency Plan
